C. H. Mason Bible College
Bethel COGIC is the local site for C. H. Mason Bible College. Students from the Area 5 Districts (Progressive Community, Ruston, Bastrop, Greater Ouachita, Monroe, and Morehouse) of First Jurisdiction of Louisiana COGIC are served. C. H. Mason Bible College has been restructured, and the Capstone Curriculum has been adopted. The entire four unit, sixteen subject program is designed to develop urban Christian leadership for the Church and the Kingdom (Matthew 21:42). This curriculum is designed to be used in a variety of formats, time frames, and venues. Affectionately called "a seminary in a box", this curriculum will give you everything you need to equip yourself and your leaders for effective ministry in your church and community.
Four subjects are organized under the headings of either Bibilical Studies, Theology and Ethics, Christian Ministry, or Urban Mission. Each module (course) is divided into four lessons. Each module is designed to be taught in 12 classroom hours surpassing the well-accepted "CEU' (Continuing Education Unit) standards. Each module also has required supplemental textbooks; however, they must be orderd prior to registration. Our goal is for all students to begin classes fully equipped. In order to have enough books and materials, it is necessary to Pre-Register students. Please view the Calendar for all C. H. Mason Training Centers:
