Our Mission

Our mission is to communicate the Gospel of Good News and Glad Tidings to the unchurched and unsaved; to preach, teach and practice the Apostles' doctrine; to create a climate of warmth, value, and appreciation in our worship; to communicate clearly the message of the saving Grace of Jesus Christ; to communicate clearly the keeping power of the Holy Ghost; and to gather the Harvest of Lost Souls.

While our mission remains the same, we have had to make some changes to ensure the safety of everyone. We are still observing the Governor's mandates for gatherings until further notice. When the decision is made to return to our "normal" schedule, we will update this site as well as our Facebook page.

MT. NEBO BAPTIST CHURCH
A magnificent interfaith worship service occurred
on March 30, 2008. Rev. Houston Simmons invited
Supt. Charles A. Stevenson to preach the message at
Mt. Nebo Baptist Church’s Homecoming Celebration.
Not only did the pastor deliver the Word, but Bethel’s
deacons, ushers, and sanctuary choir participated in this
historic worship service.

For the previous years, our church family has taken
an annual trip to Six Flags. We have had a wonderful time!

In 2011, our church family decided to take a trip to Hot Springs.
Despite the heat, we had an amazing time!
